The Association of HR Professionals declares the HR Week 2010

Entering the last few weeks of an action packed run down over eventful four months, the Association of Human Resource Professionals (HRP) officially announced the HR Week 2010, from 17th to 23rd May 2010.

International Public Management Association of Human Resources Certification Programme (IPMA CP)

The HR Week 2010, kicks off with the Internationally recognized HR Certification programme, IPMA CP. International Public Management Association of Human Resources (IPMA-HR) USA, together with HRP Sri Lanka will successfully conduct the International Public Management Association Certification Programme for the third time in Sri Lanka from 17th to 21st May 2010 at the Galadari Hotel.

IPMA HR (USA) has established a competency model containing 20 competencies that serve as the foundation for human resources professionals as they execute their work inside four major roles and transform the HR function. These roles include: HR Expert, Business Partner, Change Agent, and Leader. The four-day interactive workshop will introduce the competencies defining these key HR roles and at the successful completion of the programme the participants will be able to earn the IPMA Certified Professional status (IPMA-CP). The IPMA Certified Professional (IPMA-CP) is a recognized international designation with over 5000 certified professionals in 14 countries.

IPMA-HR is headquartered in the United States and has over 8,000 members in about 25 countries. Its mission is to provide human resource leadership and advocacy, professional development, information and services to enhance organizational and individual performance.

The HR Learning Conference 2010, Phoenix Effect
