It’s the night of the Knights!

The much awaited HRM Awards 2010 Super 10 will launch today amidst the glamour and splendor of local and foreign dignitaries, business community, eminent academics and professionals dedicated to the advancement of human resources in Sri Lanka. The grand event will unfold at the Cinnamon Grand Oak Room at 7 pm tonight, 21st May 2010.

The HR Week, 17th to 23rd May 2010, was declared by the Association of Human Resource Professionals in Sri Lanka with three parallel events, the IPMA HR Professional Certification (USA), the HRM Awards Learning Conference with the grand finale being the HRM Awards 2010 Super 10 where the HR Knights of Sri Lanka’s private and public sectors will be admitted to the prestigious round table.

HRP’s strategic technical partner, Hewitt Associates India, a global human resource consulting firm provides technical evaluation and assessment for the selection of companies to be admitted to this prestigious league.

The HRM Awards 2010 Super 10 panel of judges comprise of Dr Anura Ekanayake, Chairman, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Dr Uditha Liyanage, Director, Post Graduate Institute of Management, Ravi Peiris, Director General, Employers Federation of Ceylon, Neil Reichenberg, Director, IPMA HR (USA), Peter Reilly, Director, HR Research and Consultancy Institute of Employment Studies, UK and David Jones, Geography Lead, Middle East Practice, Hewitt Associates. Tonight the Super 10 Knights of HRM in Sri Lanka receive their accolades for striving to uphold exemplary HR best practices amidst trying and challenging times.
