The Association of Human Resource Professionals (HRP) is the only professional network of practicing HR professionals in Sri Lanka. With its 19-year history , AHRP continues to make significant contributions to uplifting the standards of the HR profession in the country with a host of initiatives and interventions.
AHRP serves as a source of information and support for Human Resources professionals, as well as a forum for Human Resources Professionals to meet, fraternize and exchange ideas including thought leadership
In order to promote understanding, co-operation and partnership within Sri Lanka and across the South Asian region, the body continually seeks to collaborate or form strategic alliances with international experts in human resources and industrial relations, whilst also recognising industry leaders and rewarding ground-breaking initiatives in bringing HR to the strategic forefront of organisations.
AHRP New Executive Team: Expanding Vistas Beyond Profession & the Nation
The new Executive Committee of the Association of HR Professionals (AHRP) was formed at the last Annual General Meeting. Led by the newly elected President Ishan Dantanarayana, the Executive Committee comprises of highly experienced HR Professionals representing leading Corporates in Sri Lanka.
AHRP is the apex body representing practicing HR professionals in Sri Lanka. AHRP with a legacy of nearly two decades has significantly contributed towards uplifting the standards of the HR profession in the country with a host of initiatives and interventions over the years.
AHRP continues to be a catalyst in Sri Lanka’s talent management whilst uplifting HR practices by sharing global developments and best practices. AHRP also offers a world-renowned professional certification for HR practitioners through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest HR body. Significantly, SHRM was also introduced to Sri Lanka by the AHRP.
